Kevin Garnett "A Breed Apart"

images

Kevin Garnett is the Hardest working man in the NBA. A natural born powerhouse who after being named High school player of the year by the USA today, entered his name in the 1995 NBA draft and was the fifth pick in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves, his freshman season would prove to be the beginning of a new standard to the power forward position, not only in Minnesota, but in the NBA. I've been a fan of KG since the first time i saw him Bang on some chump back in his high school days in South Carlolina. It wasn't simply because he dunked on the unfortunate soul, but the look of disgust KG gave him after giving a heartfelt roar and a pound to his chest. I feel I can relate to KG and his game because when i used to play (emphasis on used to) I liked to let everyone know I was there and I had more Heart than them all, and the city I came from was crawling with college prospects and all suburban bred so I felt like it was my job to expose these pretty-boy players and show them what working hard was really about.
Now with Kevin Garnett going on his thirteenth year and winning a NBA championship I believe that he has solidified himself as the best power forward in the NBA and a future hall of famer. Face it "The Kid" is a beast and it is gonna be oh so sweet when he repeats......Shoutout To Mitch, Sorry Cleveland Maybe Next year.

The 1st Memoir....The essence of Youth

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to do what it is you really want yo do? I don't mean your guilty pleasures or awkwardly unique talents , but the shit that you see on shows like entourage, the city, and the hills. The complete feeling of freedom from all personal responsibilities and the sheer arrogance that comes from knowing that you are in a position that you yourself can mold and shape into whatever it is you so please. You see I believe that this kind of lifestyle is the essential essence of "Young People" the thing that separates us from earlier generations, I've always had the outlook that the youth are a thing unlike anything else, a mass of creativity that takes form in music, sports, fashion and general lifestyle. One of the things that i want this blog to do is to give other youngins' a platform to show your creativity, Personally i am trying t become a film maker but i find myself trapped in a college finishing up a degree in a major i could give a fuck about, not to denounce a good education because i mean its one thing to be an innovator but its the ability to comprehend analyze and understand that will really allow you to put the world on its ear and an education will definitely give you a good foundation to build upon. Basically what i want to get across is the fact that young people are the gears that will forever keep society evolving whether old bastards like it or not.
