Kevin Garnett is the Hardest working man in the NBA. A natural born powerhouse who after being named High school player of the year by the USA today, entered his name in the 1995 NBA draft and was the fifth pick in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves, his freshman season would prove to be the beginning of a new standard to the power forward position, not only in Minnesota, but in the NBA. I've been a fan of KG since the first time i saw him Bang on some chump back in his high school days in South Carlolina. It wasn't simply because he dunked on the unfortunate soul, but the look of disgust KG gave him after giving a heartfelt roar and a pound to his chest. I feel I can relate to KG and his game because when i used to play (emphasis on used to) I liked to let everyone know I was there and I had more Heart than them all, and the city I came from was crawling with college prospects and all suburban bred so I felt like it was my job to expose these pretty-boy players and show them what working hard was really about.
Now with Kevin Garnett going on his thirteenth year and winning a NBA championship I believe that he has solidified himself as the best power forward in the NBA and a future hall of famer. Face it "The Kid" is a beast and it is gonna be oh so sweet when he repeats......Shoutout To Mitch, Sorry Cleveland Maybe Next year.
